You will build strong, consultative partnerships with our Hiring Managers to drive the full cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring future employees. HR Specialist

About the Role:

In this position, you will manage certain aspects of day-to-day HR and ensure that all HR processes are efficient, scalable, and meet the highest level of customer satisfaction while providing support to other areas of the HR function. The customer success team is enthusiastic about partnering with our clients to help them see new ways to approach construction. We are passionate about delivering on the promise of reshaping construction by equipping our clients with data-driven insights that improve their business processes and consequently create repeat and expanded business with our clients. Customer Success managers are essential team members that drive the use and adoption of Versatile’s CraneView® solution. 

You are a self-starter with a strong construction background and excel at building trusted advisor relationships with clients. You are responsible for ensuring our clients and their partners are utilizing our platform to drive action. Your mandate is to ensure our clients achieve their desired business outcomes and to drive and deliver healthy, successful projects. 

Customer Success is a team sport. While you will own the project relationships and be responsible for their successful outcomes, you understand that our success is achieved by collaborating with and supporting stakeholders across the Versatile organization. 

You will have significant commercial construction experience and a demonstrated track record of using that experience to drive construction technology adoption. You will also have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and an ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster customer success.

What you will be doing:
  • Leverage knowledge of the construction industry to improve client business outcomes. Manage and coordinate engagement activity through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning, and execution. 
  • Proactively engage, educate, collaborate, and problem-solve with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization to deliver agreed-upon business outcomes.

Experience & Skills:
  • Direct Industry: 3+ years of on-site commercial construction experience, ideally in a superintendent or project management capacity. 
  • Indirect Industry: 5+ years of working in the construction technology space, ideally in client service, customer success, engagement management, or professional services consulting discipline. 
  • Education: 3+ year college or university degree or equivalent progressively responsible working experience in client service, customer success, engagement management, or professional services consulting disciplines in the SaaS space. 
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Docs Editors Suite. 
  • An understanding of working with data and analytics, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI, or equivalent would be an advantage.
